Bernie Sokal, MBA
Bernie Sokal is a daily money manager and professional fiduciary who is the founder and President of MoneyCare Financial, LLC. After a successful 38-year career working for two leading financial institutions, he wanted to utilize his financial expertise and enter a profession that truly helps people - Daily Money Management. He is a professional who can provide a wide range of personal assistance to individuals who want help managing their day-to-day monetary affairs.
Bernie holds an MBA from the Columbia Business School in Finance and Money & Financial Markets. He attended the NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies, where he completed classes in their Certificate of Financial Planning Program. He also has earned a Certificate in Professional Fiduciary Management for Trustees from California State University, Fullerton.
Bernie has held senior management positions with both Citigroup and JPMorgan Chase. He worked for Citigroup for over 30 years and was a Senior Vice President in various Finance, Expense Management, and Risk Management roles. At JPMorgan Chase, Bernie served as an Executive Director in their Global Legal and Global Compliance Operations business units.
Bernie is on the Board of Trustees of Jewish Family Services of Middlesex County, and a member of the American Association of Daily Money Managers, Caring Connections of New Jersey, Seniors Blue Book Networking Group, and the Estate and Financial Planning Council of Central New Jersey.
Bernie is also a frequent lecturer on the topic “Money Smart for Older Adults: How to Avoid Frauds & Scams” which he has presented to numerous senior groups.
